Hi, I have just installed Navision server 3.6 on a Windows 2003 server and when you reboot the server the Navsion DB Service does not start. The error is “The operating system has returned and error <87>”. Any ideas without installing SQL[?] Thanks
Check if this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;327545 will give you a hint? Usualy most of the service problems are related to the permissions. What I don’t know is if Microsoft has officialy anounced that Navision server will run on Win2003 or not? I think there were some posts on the topic here. So the second suggestion is to “Search” for Windows 2003 in the forum.
