NAV5 - Table fields detailed descrtiptions, meanings of fields

Hi there,

My customer would like to help their users to generate extended SQL properties for the fields of tables. These descriptions are about the ‘meaning’ of a field. Sometimes the field names themselves does not tell what the field about. For example in the Customer table the field “No.”. Technically I know what is this field, but for some users this information is not clear.

This solution is necessary for a third party of application…

Is there any documentation or MS specification about this feature? Or I need to go through all of tables and their fields, set this description? :-/
