Has anyone out there had any concrete exeperience with the migration from V3 to V4?
Here in France we are being told the tools will be availiable on donwload by jan 07; I expect the rest of europe is the same, but if anyone has had any experience I’d be interested to know for future contact.

I already participate to 2 migrations from Ax3.0 sp4 and sp5 to Ax4.0
It was just long to go through all the modifications done to be sure we migrated all the modifications. There are some changes on the structure, but with a good methodology and a systematic quality check, it went pretty well. There was no real problem with the datas, onl;ys the code modifications took time.
Regarding the tools used, for the migrations we just used the basic tools in Dynamics AX4.0 and some automated cleaning tools and version control we developped. The first migration was back in August.
By the way, where are you located in France? (Le pays me manque un peu :o) )
