having SQL2000 SP4
Navision 4.1 sp1
we are having more than 25 users … one of the users during opening navison … i am having this message 160,“IM003”, specifed driver could not be loaded due to system error 998 (SQL Server )
if any one knows about it ----> please let me know
Have that user try logging in on another computer (one that works). And have a working user login on the bad computer. Does the error follow the user or stay with the machine? I’m think that it stays with the machine as this is likely a Windows issue. I’m guessing a bad driver possibly video.
I think the SQL Server ODBC driver cannot be loaded (sqlsrv32.dll).
You could try to re-install the SQL Server Client on that machine (from the SQL Server setup program), which should provide the driver and net libraries client side.

i installed the client for navision next time ,and delete the zup file , but the same error .
it’s solved by installing MDAC_IE5.Cab on the user machine
