Inventory value report in AX 2009

Hi,

I run an inventory value report in AX 2009, but confused about the term “INV: Physical amount posted”, “WIP: Physical amount posted”. What do they mean?

Hi,

Which inventory report are you running ? I always run “physical inventory by Inventory Dimension”.

I guess: inventory physical amount posted means: all goods received/shipped in your warehouse without having invoiced already. Thus, no financial update yet.

WIP: means work in progress, depending on your production parameters, it might be possible that your production order has created already stock physically without financial postings.
