Hi!

There might be someone here who can tell me how to pick materials from the warehouse to use.

For example: wood to prepare chair

Or is it only possible with manufacturing?

Hi Yngwie,

There are different ways of doing it. It depends on your actual setup + Granules that you purchased. If it is for manufacturing, then you can create the pick list from the Work Order. If not using it, from the sales Order → Function → Create Inventory pick or create a pick from the Warehouse Shipment…it all depends on your actual setup.

Basically, NAV has 2 different way of picking: Warehouse Pick (Requires WH granule) or Inventory Pick (Different granule). Some customers will simply use a report to do it.

If you are just assembling the chair, you can still use the “Kitting” functionality for that.
