How to upload transfer journal

Hi All,

I want to upload a transfer journal to reverse a journal I previously posted. How can I do it?

Can I use excel to import the transfer journal?

Create a new journal, use the Functions button on the journal to copy it, then reverse the quantities.

You could use an Excel import, but I would not recommend it, it would probably be quicker to key it.

Assuming I have lots of problem journals nad it would be impossible to manually key in the adjustments. What are the tables that I need to import? is it inventjournaltable and invent journaltrans only?

I do not know without actually doing it, I would start by exporting one, you can create the lines, but it means you create the header in AX then add this to the Excel. If you have a lot I would get a developer to write a script for them.
