EP installation error

I am installing EP and getting the below error. Please provide your advice.

Server Details - Windows 2012, SQL 2012, SharePoint 2010, AX 2012.

Warning - The start address http://ax2012std3:32843 cannot be crawled.

Context: Application ‘Search_Service_Application’, Catalog ‘Portal_Content’

Details:

Access is denied. Verify that either the Default Content Access Account has access to this repository, or add a crawl rule to crawl this repository. If the repository being crawled is a SharePoint repository, verify that the account you are using has “Full Read” permissions on the SharePoint Web Application being crawled. (0x80041205)

Hi,

Just an update. I am seeing this error in event viewer. Still the post installation EP steps are in progress.

Are you using the same Business proxy account for Sharepoint and EP?

Yes. The issue resolved after I restarted the server. I don’t know how a restart will resolve the error.

Thats great! I know it is strange but lot of issues in MS products solve after system restart. May be due to registry updates do not happen until restart. Not sure :slight_smile:
