I am trying to install Enterprise Portal Site in our server (Windows server 2012 R2). The client does not support Sharepoint 2013, they require sharepoint 2010 instead. We have that and its working fine with EP installed in another 2012 Server. But in this server when i try a new EP installation, the pre-requisite keeps asking Sharepoint 2013 update error. Is there anyway i can bypass this? Even though i installed Sharepoint Foundation Server 2010 which is enough to run EP, this error keeps popping up. Any help is really appreciated as we are trying to deploy our EP customizations.
We have installed Sharepoint 2010…If i try to install this update, it says, “there are no products affected by this update”. Its obvious coz it requires Sharepoint 2013 installed. Which is not, in my case. its sharepoint 2010 which is installed. But still it asks for that update!
Thanks for the suggestion guys. Even after installing Sharepoint 2013 with all the hotfixes and updates required by the pre-requisite installer were installed, the installer still asks for the Sharepoint 2013 update. Don’t know why its not being checked properly. I even tried re-installing the sharepoint DB’s and installing the update using the link in the pre-requisite installer. No result. The issue’s still there.
if you have installed SharePoint 2013 SP1, before installing the suggested update in the Ax 2012 R3 prerequisites and you are still facing the error SharePoint 2013 Update, then the following should be done:
Go to “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Setup Logs” and find the latest log.
Find the check which failed:

2016-10-14 23:34:33Z Resolution: Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft SharePoint 2013. This update provides the latest fixes for SharePoint 2013. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.
Then navigate to the registry key in regedit.exe and change the value to the version required.
