When i try to import our the license file i am receiving the following message error:
‘Your program license does not permit you to run this version of Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision. Please contact your system manager for an upgrade of your license’
I’m not sure if the problem is our Navision version: Navision 4.0 SP2.
How can i get the information for what version my license is. We ask the authorities at our Microsoft Department but there was no answer of them.
Maybe this is a stupid detection but in our license there are a lot of zero entries.
Open you license file in a text editor, and you should see the following line: 2,120 Navision Version 4.0 1
If you don’t then contact your Dynamics Partner for an upgraded license.
You need to ask your Dynamics Partner why, since they would have been the ones that ordered it. If you are on the upgrade program, then as soon as you order any license it is automatically upgraded.
Today we received finally a developer license from our MS Dynamics partner which is working fine.
The txt file of our license now looks totaly different and there aren’t any zero numbers.
As i thought, the mistatke was at microsofts side and we did everything the right way.
