Hi Guys,
I am new to axapta development however have a good experience in OLAP reporting. We have a requirement to create cross company reports and cross modular reports.
- We have Report designer (based on existing tables)
- We have Auto reports (based on existing tables)
- We have Report builder (based on existing model and perspectives).
I have tried to create a report in Business Intelligence Development Studio 2005, that is based on tables and fetches the data through a SQL query. My concern is that, is it a good method to create a report in which there would be around 5,00,000 records to be displayed ?
Is there any way through which I can open the existing model in Analysis Services project?
The only issue with our reports is that, they would be having a lot of data to display, which method you suggest that will be OK to develop new reports.
We are implementing Microsoft AX 4.
