Hi,

I plan to create new company in AX 2009… Already the exisiting company is running with 3 years data exists. Is it possible to create new company without any data?.. any possibility is there to system get slow or hang when both companies are running in live?

Please suggest and share some useful links.

I want to create seperate user, user group and user permission for new company… is it possible to do?

Hi Jaf,

When you create a new company, it will have no data (except shared data, like Global Address Book).

I do not think a new company on it’s own would cause any performance impact. It might if the new company also brought new users to AX.

For configuring different security permissions in different companies, in AX 2009 you use ‘Domains’:
