Create a new company(legal entity) in AX 2009

Hi

How to create a new company in AX 2009 with same settings and configuration from old company. Only thing I don’t want in new company is transaction data from old company. Could anyone give steps

I am not 100% sure but you can take backup of existing company without transactions and import it in new company.

There is a feature for duplicate company also which creates replica of existing company, but I guess that will copy transactions also.
