Correcting a posted packing slip

I have been able to update/correct the quantity on a posted packing slip. However, is it possible to update the weight on the packing slip? When I try to post the weight correction, I get an infolog message that the posting has been cancelled because an error occurred during the update. What is the best way to update the weight when I correct the packing slip?

I am using AX 2012.

I believe the weight is written at the time the item is entered, assuming you are not using Bill of Lading. I could be wrong you would need to check the fields on the line. But to get this correct you would need to un-ship, remove teh line, re-add it and re-ship. Assuming I understand your question correctly!
