Copying item from one company to another

Hi,

How to copy an item from one company to another company and one database to another database.

Company to Another Company in a Single Database :

  1. Use Dataport 2. Use the Table property DataPerCompany = NO 3. Ctrl V and Ctrl C

One Database to another Database ( Item table structure should be same in both the Database)

  1. Use Dataport 2. C/FRONT 3. Ctrl V and Ctrl C

No that is probably the worst advicee you can give. You do not want to change that property for master tables.
