company rename

hi all,

Is there any option to disable the company rename option (File → company → rename) in dynamics?

I’m using some Stored Procedures to get some values from navison tables in Ms SQL. I hardcode the company name in SP. when somebody rename the company, then the table name will be changed and it will affect my SP. Thats why i want some option mentioned above.

Hi Mahesh,

This can be done with permissions, no user should be assigned with system permission to rename company. The permission

System 1630 File, Company, Rename

allows user to rename/change Company name
