What is the best thing in Navision 3.60?

3.60 gave us some new things, but which one is the best?

Well… not included… but i think the option never mentioned is “the new bugs to discover”

How about the new headaches regarding Dimensions?!?!?!?

I would like to vote RecordRef. But I’ll wait till version 3.70 - in that version xxxRef will be more usable (I have been told).

What about “I don’t think there is anything good in 3.60”?

Uops [B)]! We are thinking about an upgrade in the moment! bye André

Hmmm… Well the upgrade tools provide hours of enjoyment, especially if you have compressed your data or use the Serial Number field in the Item Ledger Entry table if you are currently using a Financials version. The best thing about 3.60? Perhaps the re-assurance that the people at Navision/MBS are no brighter than the rest of us. …or that it’s not 3.01 [xx(]

Hehe- our current system is the 3.01 - version. I’m almost content with this system [;)]. But in fact - every new version should be better than the previous version but carries also new errors etc. [DREAM] If there wouldn’t be so much modifications in our database … [/DREAM] bye André

Edward - I completely agree with you…

The best things i like about it is the No. of Service Packs it has, which is more than 15 for W1 version. They never had so many SPs for any version of thier solution, did they?

Well, With such a lot of nagativity I’m surprised that so many claim to enjoy using Navision!

Robert, Please notice the name and subject of this forum. [:D] The purpose of this forum is NOT TO BE SERIOUS! It’s to spend a few minutes relaxing and not to work. My guess is that people here are ironic - at least I am. It’s the only really forum where you allowed to REALLY critize the system - but always WITH LOVE… [8)]

Oh! Break space - sounds more like a character combination to me

I’ve to remind for those that are only thinking on the only one thing… we’re talking about a computer program… LOVE DOES NOT MEAN SEX HERE!!! [}:)][:D] Regards,

The best thing in Attain 3.60 is… the EXIT button [:o)]

I love one conspicuous bug that still isn’t corrected in 3.60: When you are in MenuItems list of MenuButton, open code for any of items, close code viewer and then look at a toolbar and search for Properties or Code button that were there before. Where did they go? I enjoy this bug [:)] It’s like a drug habit cause I always search for those buttons. At least there is shortcut key for Properties now (in 3.60) and toolbar isn’t needed [:)] Also there’s bug with KeyRef but that’s another story [;)]

I would say: RecordRefs, but since that functionality isn’t stable… I’m choosing the new debugger [:)] One suggestion for 3.70/4.00: color coding in the development enviroment

Yeah, color coding and it would be great if I can choose function name from drop down list like in VB [:)]

Navision Saudi Arabia must be very efficent. So far, Navision Italy managed to painfully give birth to 1 SP! [:p] Anna
