Hello Team!
This is terrible… I’ve just come back to the DynamicsUser.net site to realize the complete platform revamp… Not that I’m against the changes and progress… but jeez… the theme that is selected is terrible. When opening the page, a topic briefly shows high contrast and then fades away into a light-grey on white background !! I’ve tried to change the color settings in the preferences, but that only affects the Editor in Discourse… not the page display where the topics are posted.
Without select the text in the page to highlight it, it’s impossible to read.
we’re working on updating the color schemes. for the time being, though, i’ve enabled the default dark mode theme as “Default”. to use it, click your profile badge in the upper right corner, click the little person icon, click “preferences” and then click the “interface menu”. next, change the “Theme” to “Default” and click "save changes. That might make things better for you in the mean time.
Thank you Jacob,
For now this did the trick, at least the text is readable across the board on all pages.
Looking forward to get more themes to try out.
I’m new to this community and glad to join you. I work as a consultant, and one of my current projects involves supporting a company that still uses Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. Because it’s a legacy system, I often encounter unique challenges around maintenance, upgrades, and integration with modern platforms.
I joined this forum to exchange knowledge: I’ll be asking questions when I hit roadblocks, but I also hope to contribute solutions and insights from my consulting experience.
Are there NAV 2009 experts or long-time users here? I’d love to connect, learn from your expertise, and share what I’ve discovered along the way.
Welcome to the community! It’s always great to connect with people working in the Dynamics ecosystem and learning from each other. NAV 2009 definitely has its own challenges, especially around maintenance, integrations, and planning what’s next.
I’ve worked with NAV environments from 4.0 through 2018 and into Business Central, so sharing practical insights has always been part of the journey. Happy to exchange thoughts here. If you’re open to it, what areas of NAV 2009 are you currently finding the most challenging?
