am i want to install any components ???

Run ax update of SP1 and Roll up.

Version Control System on MSDN is probably a good starting point. Using the Version Control Integration with Microsoft Team Foundation Server may be useful too if you decide to use TFS.

Configuration and prerequisites vary significantly depending on which version control system you choose.

  • MorphX version control is the easiest to configure, but it also doesn’t many features. It’s much better than nothing, though.
  • Visual SourceSafe gives you central repository and lots of features that other “normal” VCS offer. Nevertheless it’s far from perfect and its mainstream support already ended.
  • Team Foundation Server is by far the most advanced source control system supported by AX, but the cost is complexity.
