Trial Balance Report

AX 4.0 Version:

When i run the Trial Balance report for open work orders, i see that it does bring in the transactions from work orders that have already been ended. I’m not sure if this is a bug or not, but here is what i am trying to get to:

I am able to retrieve the Work Order Number and its status based on the voucher for each transaction in the report. If I exclude the lines with Ended status out of the report, would you say the rest should be my WIP value ? Total of the debit amounts ?

I know that i can modify the other two reports ‘Item posting per account and posting per account’ to accomplish the same thing, but i just want to see if the Trial Balance report is enough for what i am trying to get.

Let me know if i am correct. I’d like to hear your input on this. TIA.

Theoretically, It is correct. One AX Source confirmed. Credits should be included as well in case of reversals of pick lists, etc.
FYI, ProdTableJour is where i retrieve the ProdId from.
