What are you physically doing in words - is India the dimension and you are moving it from India to China as an example? What are your dimensions, how are they related and what controls are in place - then tell us what you are doing on the transfer order from a dimension persepctive.
Yes , I have configured the Purpose dimension to Site using posting dimension link functionality.
As i told you in a client environment 2 COA account structures. 1 for balance sheet ( all dimension values are allowed ) and 1 for P&L accounts.(all dimension values are allowed) in AX 2012 and user configured 3 financial dimensions mandatory to BS and PL , any dimensions values are allowed.
In the dimension link i have attached the only dimension , then what about the other dimensions values . In transfer order there is no option to select the other dimensions values . [:(]
User has not assigned any dimension vlaues to Inter - payable and inter - receivable accounts . Do i need to attach the dimension values to above accounts .
Yes you said there are two account structures but no reference to the issue. You cannot select dimension values on a transfer order.
The inter-payable and inter-receivables are hit when transfer orders are moved between sites - check what accounts these are - BS or PL, then check in the dimension sets where they are configured and the rules in place. Ultimately debug your error message from a process perspective, or also ask a developer to tell you what is calling the error.
This is a customized tab at the Transfer Order level, with the Standard application we will not find this financial Dimension tab. So to overcome the issue take help of your developers to have the dimensions shown in the form.
I got your point. I agree that the financial dimensions are not constant in such scenarios. But, we can link the site dimension with a financial dimension (Inventory and warehouse management > Setup > Posting > Dimension link). If sites keep changing, then we can use this functionality to automatically change the selection of financial dimension in the transaction.
