I am developing stock regiser with value for my customer, format is like below
item, opening qty, opening value, receipts qty, receipts value, issue qty,issue value, closing qty, closing value.
In the above for quantity fields i can fetch from invent trans and for values what are fields to be considered and which is the table.

In addition to above total cost value and inventory ledgers under current asset has to tally, so where the cost has to be taken to obtain this ?

inventory managment - > Status - > Check the Physical stock by Item group and Inventory value per item group . you will get how to fetch the data.
