I have heard from our Navision provider that we should not be doing SQL transaction log backups because this would cause problems with Navision. At least in SQL7 there’s no problem performing transaction log backups. If You wan’t to have a Stand By Server, transaction log backups is the way You do it. Then You can schedule these and the restore in the StandBy Server. It would be interesting to here the reason for not to take transaction log backups. //Lars
