+ sign in front of a source expression

Hi all,

Can anyone help me out about the purpose of a + sign before a source expression.

ex. in NAV 2013 page ID 9209

Field Name : TotalQuantity

have Source Expression property as “+Quantity”

what will the + sign do here ?

It really does nothing. As far as I can see, then it will do exactly the same thing if you don’t use it.
