Sales order generates error while posting

Hi,

One of our user is posting a sales order(Invoice update) eg :SO_01 and while posting he gets an error

saying that

"SALES ORDER SO_999

LINE NO 0.00

SO_999 has been updated by another user

Order line has been moved

Operations cancelled "

The notable point is the order numbers are totally different and has no connection, neither created by same user nor it was for the same cusotmer.

After some time or after the next day the user simply posts this Sales order withou any issue

Another thing we observed is this issue happens once in a while only. So we are unable to re-create it.

Hi

This can happen due to number of reasons one of them would be sales pool. either users has selected the wrong user pool. secondly the user data needs to flush(reset)

Please clear the list entry in the number sequence of sales order pool and select the list button. if any entry exist then clear it

Go to Basic → Setup → Number sequences and select the Sales Order.

Click on General tab.

In Setup frame check the Continous box and save the settings.

I hope this will solve the issue.
