I need to have a preview of the postings that will be made to the G/L, VAT and Sales Ledger before posting the sales invoice.
It would be beneficial to have the output to Excel but via a report would be fine.
I am hoping someone may have created such a tool and made it available?
Is it a matter of running a CU based on CU80 etc but stop short of the insert and then export the temp table data to Excel?
Suggestions really welcome…

I guess that the normal test report isn’t enough?
Yes to get the full and 100% correct “preview” of exactly what would be posted where, then you would need to create a copy of CU 80 and do more or less what you suggest, before exporting it.
But I have never heard anyone done this.
The copy of CU80 is done, the significant Deletealls & Inserts remarked and now I have all the temp tables to use for my reporting.
Should be a fairly quick and dirty solution but will do the job.
