I must change the reporting currencies in AX to USD for all legal entities, but before I can do that I have the following questions:

  1. How will the change affect closed or on-hold periods?

  2. How will the change affect open periods?

  3. What pre-requisites or preparation must be done before the change

  4. What information do I need from cilent in order to do the change?

Hi Surya,

You can change the reporting currency. You can open the option Ledger reporting currency conversion from the menu: General Ledger > Periodic > Currency conversions.

I thougt you can only do this when previous years are closed. You can do it at any time during the fiscal year. Note that AX will add additional accounting transactions for rounding differences when needed.
