Replace DB in a Native Server

Dear all,

I have a Db(Test DB) in my Native Server (Test Server). I want to replace the DB(Test DB) with the another DB ( Test DB2) . How to do this ?

What is the safe process ?? Kindly reply.

Check my process plz.

1 Stop the server.
2 Replace the database files with the new one ( with the same name).
3 Start the server

• that’s what I would do. Have actually done that a few times.

Smart to test the database after it has been moved (File → ´Database → Test)
