There has been an error in the registering of consumption against a production order in version 4 service pack 2. Does anybody know if there is a way to ‘Reverse’ the postings that have been made and send the status of the production order back to ‘Released’ from ‘Finished’ for amending and reposting.

To reverse consumption enter negative qty. in consumption journal and also fill applies-to field with original entry.
You will need to write some customer code to allow this. In standard it is not possible.
Yes you are right [:)]. I didn’t read the magic word “Finished”. Custom code has to make to reopen order, reverse automatic flushing if it’s active, convert order, etc.
