Hi,

sir i have com to know that the Manufacturing will deal with Inventory but what types of Questions will asked in interweave for 2 years experience candidate on functional side in Navision will u Plz

You don’t mention what kind of Interview. If you are the one going to the interview, or if the interview is more of the “test” type of interviews. Nor do you write what your back ground is (I checked you have never written an introduction either), are you a student with no experience but little knowledge of Dynamics NAV or if you are an experienced IT specialist “upgrading” to the “Dynamics world”? [:)]. No matter what, then you’re welcome here on the Dynamics User Group. It think that some of the questions you have asked shows that you are very focused just on getting that first job in the Dynamics world. At when looking at my own experience then I can tell you that it’s a good world.

If it’s an interview for a job, then it would typically be questions regarding your experience on real life manufacturing implementations and if I were to interview someone for a job as a functional manufacturing consultant, then I would first need to know that you were not only knowledgeable about Dynamics NAV, but also about the module. The manufacturing module is perhaps the most complex modules of NAV and also one of the area’s where the end-users typically have some very specific demands.And then I would like to know if you besides the direct system part of it, also understands manufacturing and how it is actually used in the companies. If you talk the talk.

So a good advise is to learn their (the manufacturing end-users) language. There are lots of books about manufacturing systems in the market, and it really doesn’t matter that they are not so much about NAV but manufacturing in general. Or if you know someone who works in manufacturing (especially planning) and sit down with him to learn the trade. After you have read and understood the books, then sit down and take a look at NAV again.
