while generating the Item/Customer statistics report, following error occur":
“currency code must specify”
please suggest how to overcome this issue

I would guess there is a customer in your data that was imported in without a currency code.
i already check ed all the customers, currency code is associated with all.
Debug it with a developer then - I guess you have posted transactions with blank currency. Imported data probably the cause.
