Issues creating records through form

Hi

I have a couple of custom tables (in ax 2012 R 3). These two tables are related. I have a new form with these two tables as the data sources. I joined the two tables on the form data source. when I enter data and click OK command button the data is not inserted in the joined table, but only on the main table. i don’t even have any customization in the clicked method of button. Not sure what is missing. Any help is appreciated.

What kind of join have you used?

Also make sure you’ve the relation set properly between the parent and child tables.

How do you relate your parent table with the child table ?
