my question is, is there a way to get the residue from a division?

like the mod function in pascal

You can use MOD in Navision But it is not in the C/AL menu I think

DIV is also available. These operators are not listed in the C/AL Symbol menu but they are listed in the Application Designer’s Guide which comes with every Product-CD.

Yes there is a function MOD in Navision.

You can find its use in codeunit 5617.
