i want to create report Income statement (by months)

no name jan feb … dec current YTD

do you have any idea to do that?

Take a look at the report “Trial Balance by Period”… That’s doing exactly that.

what is the difference trial balance and income statement?

i know these two reports are using same table, which is G/:L Account

i mean what is the difference for filtering?

is it only this → SORTING(No.) WHERE(Income/Balance=CONST(Income Statement))

please correct me if i’m wrong

what is the difference trial balance and income statement?

Hi stan,

Trial Balance and Income statement are the two different thing - in Accounting aspect.

Trial Balance will give you the all the accounts and their balances.

Income statement is a financial statement - which will show you the revenue and expenses.(which will be derived from the TB)

by the way, in trial balance by period there is no current YTD

what is Current YTD means?

because i need to add current YTD in my Income statement by period

YTD means Year-To-Date.

Current YTD means - It is the period defining the start date of present fiscal/financial year to today.

Sorry I don’t have any idea how these things can be done Navision.
