How to stop item from any transaction

Hi all,

I want to Stop Item for any further transaction in the Ax system. Does any body know to do that?

is there any difference in “Financial Closing” to restrict inventory posting. (period closing)

On the default order settings of the item set the “Stopped” flag for sales, purchases and stock.
