how can i get sales order no in sales invoice

its possible to get sales order no and sales order date in sales invoice.

Same for purchaes also.

No need to customize,Posted invoices already have order No and Order date.

order date field updating, but order no. is not updating…

do i want to do any setup for this…

Both the fields present on sales invoine. Press (Ctl + F8) check.
