Has any one tried using Silk test for testing Dynamics AX 5.0

Hi All,

Is any one using or tried using Silk test for automating the tests in Dynamics AX 5.0 . Our company is trying to play around the trial (evaluation version) of Silk test to see if it would be used with Dynamics and looks like it does work sometimes but fails at identifying some objects in Dynamics so we are not sure if this tool is a good fit for testing Dynamics

If anyone is using Silk test or any other testing tool for automation testing in Dynamics AX 5.0 please let me know.

There is no good tool for automating tests in DAX 2009, the application is not testable. However you can do some UI testing with limitations. I would recommend to test the logic through classes. So as much as possible your devs should put the code in classes or tables.
