getting error when trying to add BOM to item cad

Hi,

I have created a BOM and when i try to add that to item card iam getting error as " Max Levels on BOM struccture on 50 is too high.Current Item No.XXXX . End BOM Header No. P00060. Level 25".

Also one more doubt is my client reggularly manufactures some 20 items .

So each and every time he manufactures the items quantity of raw material changes . Now my doubt is will i need to cheange the quantity per column in BOM and add it to the item card or is there any shortcut method to do that,

So you have more than 50 levels within a BOM - can you explain to me why you need this structure?

For the second part it is difficult to answer without knowing the business, but really you have a base BOM, this is also your costing basis, the actual manufacture captures the usage/differnces/variance. So you leave teh data the same and teh transactions handle the changes.

I would suggest for the first part to check if you have a lower-level code referencing a higher-level causing an endless loop
