Computation in Triangulation of Currency

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the computation or set up in triangulation if the equation is this - Euro is the foreign currency need to be converted to the second currency and then convert it to the based currency- ( Euro multiplied to 2nd Currency multiplied to Based Currency ). Because the default computation of AX is (2nd currency divided to Euro multiplied to 100 multiplied to based currency). Can any one help me to solve or understand the computation on this problem.

Thank you very much in advance.

The purpose of Triangulation is Converting the European currencies like DKK,NOK, SEK etc or other currencies…through Euro to Base currency INR, AED etc. let us know the your base currency and 2nd currency. so that it will be clear to explain.

Hi Jagadeesh,

I am also looking for the answer to the above question . I request you to take any example and post the explanation.

Say for example Comany is in AED(company currency). Want to transact with SEK(sweden krone) company.

Here triangulation currency is set as EUR

1 AED = 0.21894 EUR

1 EUR = 8.96245 SEK

We have to set the EUR as triangulation currency in Company information.

Triangulation method,

STEP-1: 100.00 AED multiplied by 0.21894 equals 21.894 EUR.

STEP-2: 21.894 EUR Multiplied by 8.96245 equals 196.223 SEK.

So here the cross rate is 1.96223 for AED to SEK.
