AX2012 Is there a way to calculate Std cost on All items using cost per 1000 units?

We require 5 decimal places in AX, so we have setup all items as cost per 1000 units.

We can not enter 1000 as Default Qty on the item master because that causes issues for master planning and production.

When we roll the cost on 1 item, we can enter that it is per 1000 units and all is good.

Is there a way to calculate Std cost on All items using cost per 1000 units when we run calculation from Inventory > setup > costing > Costing Version?
