Hi Everyone,
I’m hav’g a problem with this…I have database(with data) when i’m trying to install ax2009 with an “install with existing database” option this give me an error as…Error in installing ax2009 please check the file location C:\Programdata\Microsoft\Dynamics Ax\DynamicsAXlogDetails.txt and setup is ending up…Plz help me.

Hi Nitin,
These are the steps i’m following:
1.Microsoft dynamics Ax setup
Select installation type:-Developer installation
Next
2.Select database type:Microsoft SQL Server
Next
3.Connect to SQL Server database:
ServerName:Give my SQL Server name.
Database:My db(Which is existing one)
In this step i’m getting an error…as soon as i’m selecting my database…
if database is there as you said, you can use "Add or Remove " component option
then select Database(Microsoft SQL Server) check box from base node → select server as well as Database–> install
After that go to Server Configuration file create new configuration select your database and save it.
after installation there is need to follow the Initialization =Checklist.
