Hi,

This is a forum and not a service support centre where you will got prompt response.

Anyway, Ledger allocation is used basically to divert a fixed percentage of amount to another ledger during transaction. For example you want to transfer 10% of revenue to another ledger say any expense account. In this case you can use ledger allocation and achieve the objective.

Hello there,

We do not use the allocations in the general ledger in the company ,however i would like to learn more information about general ledger to understand the system, therefore “What is the source and destination in the allocation rules? so is it transfer from one revenue to another expense account?”
