Alert for Credit limit exceeds in Sales Order

Hi All,

I need a help on creating an alert rule for when credit limit exceeds for sales order lines. The following is example.

A customer having a credit limit on 10000 USD (which is specified in Customer Details)

When Sales order lines created for 12000 USD

at this movement we need to send alert message.

How can we set it up?

I think this cannot be done with the help of Alerts…

You can make use of Mandatory Credit Limit option available for the customer.

So that the system can show warning/error message when a sales order is confirmed.(If the value exceeds the credit limit)
