i have problem in standard item journal . i want to create consumed entry from standard item journal then this error show to me " you must specify source no in item journal line journal template name item journal batch name default line no 1000"

I go to item journal template table then add new code but it not show also why this problem made and how i solve this problem

Consumptions need the number of the item produced in the “Source No.” field. It is not the Source Code we are talking about here.

OK thanks but now i need to add source no in item journal line it show as dim and drop down menu fixed and not accept write how i solve this if possinle

Hi,

I am having the same problem mentioned in the subject. The consumption journal requests an item number, which I have included on the journal line. But the system still gives me the following error message: “Source No. must have a value in Item Journal Line: Journal Template Name = CONSUMP, Journal Batch Name = DEFAULT, Line No = 10000. It cannot be zero or empty” I see no place where an actual ‘Source No.’ can be entered, even if I go back to the Item Journal Templates. Does this make any sense to you?
