Year end closing - Total of the transactions in the year is not 0.00. Total is -355.00, this is a serious error, RUN\\CHECK on ledger transactions

Dears,

while doing Year end closing, when we run GL>periodic>Opening transactions> error is " Total of the transactions in the year is not 0.00. Total is -355.00, this is a serious error, RUN\CHECK on ledger transactions"

when I run consistency check in sys admin, No errors

but trial balance is exactly matched, Both summary and Detailed.

Can any one help on this issue.

Hi,

In the detailed trial balance, is the difference showing as 0.00 for the fiscal year which you are trying to close?

Also in the transactions, do you see any posting or balance of 355? If you have posting of sub-ledgers as asynchronous, did you ran the job to post sub-ledgers to ledgers?

Lastly, what version of AX are you using? Initial version of 2012 had issue of trial balance not balancing. MS released hotfix for that probably.

Hi Pranav,

Thanks for your prompt response, both Summary and Detailed Trial Balance are matched, difference is 0.00.

There is no such posting or balance with 355, Version is AX 2012 R2.
