Does Navision contain any functionality to manage workflows? i.e. to automatically create tasks for different employees.
Or is a seperate workflow program needed? Does anyone know if any programs have been interfaced to Navision?

Navision don’t have any real workflow. There is document approval concept but is a basic workflow implementation. You must look at add-ons.
For Navision 5.0 was talked about workflow implementation using SharePoint, but it never came out.
