Our client manufactures an item whose raw materials undergoe 4 work centre and ultimately the final product comes out. Now I want to know that how the system recognise the transfer of materials from one work centre to another.

You have a route with 4 work centres, the product moves through these and is booked by these from the routing journal. There is no need to transfer between work centres because it is WIP. If you need to book it in each time and it sits there for long periods and you want to see it as inventory then it is 4 separate item numbers and work orders to transform each into meaningful data each time.
