Say, we have multiple companies and they have multiple warehouses.
Is it possible to use WMS only in some companies while in others only inventory management? Or even have warehouses in same company where some warehouses use WMS and others don’t?
Yes you enable it by warehouse. You need to consider in a mixed mode approach what happens when you move from WMS to WHS and vice a versa, but yes it is possible.

Also, is it possible to count items per location without Warehouse management?
Basically anything that is WHS related so what happens to stock status, license plates, how you scan products, how you count products etc. Your WHS processes and approach will not apply to a non-WHS warehouse.
