hi need some help regarding remote access connectivity. suppose we need to conn. to a navision DB server from a remote site which does not hv leased line conn. but a telephone line exists…can a dialup be established? can it be done using windows terminal server? if yes how do we set it up? thanx and regards [:)]
Hi You need a Windows Terminal Server runnig, on the machine you want to access the DB from. And you need to have a Windows terminal clinet installed on your machine. By this you will have the access of the desktop of the desired machine. Moreover you need to have navison insatalled on the machine too from which you want to access the DB. This is a rough explanation how you can have access to DB through WTS. For specific technical settings ask your system administor to help you. Hope this will help. Hari
