Which balance of inventory i can start production if production module not made before

Hi guys i have problem i work two years in sales and purchase only in dynamic nav 2009 . Now i need to make production and manufacture module but in which balance i can start from inventory.

Example

I purchase Aggregate and cement to produce finish good is ready concrete(for sales)

Two years i purchase Aggregate and cement and sales ready concrete( but no production or manufacture

Meaning no consumption from current balance of inventory

Now if i need Consumption to Aggregate and cement to produce ready concrete

IF I need to start production from current balance to Aggregate and cement of inventory

Are this correct or what.

Hi Ahmed,

When you use the manufacturing module, the you are producing new inventory items, by consuming existing inventory items (and man and machine time). And when you start your production, then all the items you have specified on your production BOM, must be in your inventory.

But I’m not exactly sure what your question is??? What is that about “aggregate”?

aggregate is raw material like stone as component of concrete

Meaning if i activate production from now using current inventory or must be inventory item to be 0 this actually what i need

Not sure what you mean by “current inventory”, but when you activate a production, then the components you are going to use must be in inventory.
